TECH, the global tire and wheel authority, recently unveiled its new OTR Repair Certification Program at the Tire Industry Association’s (TIA) Annual OTR Conference in Tampa.

The OTR Repair Certification Program, which is designed for the Off The Road (OTR) tire repair technicians and facilities, offers many benefits including: tire repair quality control improvements, repair technician training, preferred national account pricing, certificate recognition, and performance rewards incentives.

OTR tires are expensive with some costing over $100,000, not to mention the costliness of heavy equipment downtime. This Program ensures tires are back in service quickly and continue to deliver solid performance for their useful life.

“TECH’s mission with the OTR Repair Certification Program is to ensure OTR repair facilities are positioned to consistently produce the highest quality OTR repairs,” said Brian Laughlin TECH OTR Program Manager. “This goal is accomplished by raising the level of professionalism with highly skilled repair technicians and a complete repair management process, which enables dealers to increase OTR new tire sales, improve safety, and help customers achieve maximum ROI on their new tire purchases.”
